Create destination pools
A destination pool is a collection of related destinations to which one or more destinations are assigned, which you can then deliver as an entire desktop, a single program (RDP), or a shell / console.
Destination pools offer several advantages that positively influence your workflow. After setup, you can define default destinations and store default credentials for them. In addition, oneclick™ offers the possibility to activate a dynamic load balancing for your destinations pools to adapt the capacity of the systems to your requirements.
To continue here, you need at least one created destination.
- In oneclick™ go to the Resources tab, select the subitem Destination pools and click on the + Icon.

- Select from the list the destinations you want to include in the destination pool and click Next. Make sure that you are only selecting destinations whose ports are using the same protocol. You will use this port to establish the connection to your resource. For cloud resources created in oneclick™, RDP for oneclick™ streaming runs over port 3389 by default.

- Give the new destination pool a Name of your choice then click Save your entries.

- If you would like to access the destinations via the oneclick™ streaming, configure the app access for your destination…
- … and then create App instances for your oneclick™ users.
- Enable load balancing to achieve optimal performance of your system. (optional)
Remove destinations from destination pools
You don’t need the app instance linked to a destination anymore and have already deleted the app instance for the corresponding user?
-
In the Resources tab and go to Destination pools.
-
Click the List icon to get to the details page of your destination pool.

-
Click the Pencil icon in the “Destinations” tile.

-
Unselect the destination you want to remove by clicking on it. Save the settings. If you remove a destination that has already been stored in an app instance, the app instance will no longer be functional.

An overview of all destinations in the destination pool is displayed on the "Destinations" tile.
