Load balancing troubleshooting

You have load balancing enabled and your server is on? If so, you can find troubleshooting information in this article.

As soon as you have activated load balancing, a new process is automatically created in oneclick™, which activates the Windows Exporter. If the initialization of the load balancing has failed, a Box-symbol appears to the left of the destinations’ name in the list of destinations.

In this case, check the following options:

  1. Did you store the correct credentials when preparing the resource(s) for process execution?
  2. Was the script required for process execution on ressources you provided by yourself executed correctly?
  3. Did you release the necessary ports and IP addresses for process execution and load balancing if additional firewalls are in use?
  4. Was the “exporterWindows” process executed successfully? To get more information about the cause you can view the process history as follows:
    1. First click on Automation on the left and then on Processes.
    2. Clicking on the List-icon next to “exporterWindows” will show you the details page of the process.
    3. Here you can see more details of the operation on the “Execution log” tile by clicking show.
  5. Once you have checked all settings for correctness, click the Box-icon in the upper right corner to reinitialize the process.
