Internet connection

oneclick™ runs exclusively in the browser and therefore requires a stable connection to the internet. In general, we recommend connecting directly to the Internet using a LAN cable instead of DLAN or WLAN.

Your router should also support the maximum possible speed of your internet connection. If this is not sufficient for smooth streaming, contact your provider to possibly upgrade to a higher speed if available.

The higher the available bandwidth for your end device and the lower the latency, the better the streaming performance. About 10 Mbit/s of bandwidth should be available for each user. If you are working with different screens, the following values can be taken as a guideline:

Bandwidth for streaming on HD resolution screens

  • Minimum recommended: 1.5 Mbit/s at Full-HD resolution
  • Maximum provided: 50 Mbit/s at Full-HD resolution

Bandwidth for streaming on 4K screens

  • Minimum recommended: 3 Mbit/s at 4K resolution
  • Maximum provided: 100 Mbit/s at 4K resolution

The latency should be as low as possible for maximum performance. Single- or double-digit values are a good indicator here. Find out how high your latency is by checking your internet speed.
