Adjust streaming optimization

Are you mostly workind with moving images such as videos and animations, or do you mainly work with text-based content?

In both cases, it makes sense to adapt the streaming to your way of working with focus on your priorities. If you have access to the Unified Workspace, you can adjust the "streaming optimization" yourself directly via your app tile in just a few simple steps.
This function must first be activated for you by your administrator.

1. Hover the mouse over the center of the tile and click on the Gear icon.
   
2. Change the respective settings by using the slider.
   • Low latency (shorter response time) If you are mainly working with text-based content and only make a few changes on images, it is recommended to select the "Low latency" option. Please note, that moving images such as videos are displayed less smoothly.
   • Smooth videos (smoother moving image playback with low bandwidth) If you move the slider towards "Smooth videos", WebRTC is activated "faster", which means that moving images are displayed more quickly and smoothly.
3. Confirm your changes by clicking on Save.
