oneclick™ Hybrid Drive & Microsoft OneDrive in comparison
oneclick™ Hybrid Drive and Microsoft OneDrive are both storage locations where data can be stored for further use. While oneclick™ Hybrid Drive is designed exclusively to be used as a transfer drive (data exchange) and data storage, data can be stored on Microsoft OneDrive for direct use and storage. OneDrive synchronizes folders between the local PC and the cloud storage to keep the data stock always up to date You can find how to connect external storage to the oneclick™ Hybrid Drive in our documentation.
oneclick™ Hybrid Drive functionality
oneclick™ Hybrid Drive is a transfer drive and is intended for data transfer only. It can be added up to a size of 50 GB. You can drag and drop data from your end device to the oneclick™ Hybrid Drive and vice versa. Files should not be opened and edited directly in oneclick™ Hybrid Drive, as this can lead to stability problems. Instead, place the files you want to be edited on the hard drive of your remote desktop. There you can open, edit, and save these files as usual. If you need the files on your end device, simply drag and drop them into the download folder within the oneclick™ Hybrid App Share drive - the file will download automatically. You can also share your files by using the Hybrid Drive app. You can find detailed information about the oneclick™ Hybrid Drive on our help pages.
Microsoft OneDrive functionality
With OneDrive, Microsoft offers classic cloud storage. Using the OneDrive application, you can upload data to OneDrive. A OneDrive folder is created on your PC and all the data you upload to it is automatically synchronized between your computer and OneDrive. On this drive you can open, edit, and save your data directly. The next time you go online, they will be automatically synchronized. OneDrive allows sharing albums, files and folders.
