Open app in a new browser window

Usually, oneclick™ opens all apps on your Unified Workspace within one tab of your browser.

If you want to detach an app from the Unified Workspace, for example, to move it to another screen, you can open it either in a new tab or a separate window:

  • New Tab: Hold CTRL + SHIFT and click on the app. It will open in a new browser tab and can be moved from there.

  • New Window: Hold SHIFT and click on the app. It will open in a new browser window and can be repositioned freely via drag & drop or keyboard shortcuts.

    This is only applicable to closed apps. If the app is already open, pressing CTRL + SHIFT + CLICK or SHIFT + CLICK will simply reload it.

Use these features, for example, to switch an active app to borderless fullscreen mode without keeping the browser window open. To do this, click the corresponding icon (Enter fullscreen mode) in the top-right corner of the oneclick™ menu.

If you want to work in an app (e.g. a remote desktop) with multiple screens, check if you have the multi-monitor add-on enabled.
